FAR FROM HEAVEN is set in Connecticut in 1957. Cathy Whitaker, played by Julianne Moore, is a society woman married to Frank (Dennis Quaid). Her life is turned upside down when her family is rocked by a series of scandals: uncovering sexual and racial prejudices. The story is a tribute to progress, an indictment of bigotry, and a homage to the Golden Age of Hollywood.
