  • Synopsis

Forty-five year old Bruno was never meant to set foot on a soccer field again. Ever since two decades ago, when an injury ended his promising career as pro player, which in turn destroyed his marriage, he’s stayed away from the game. These days, he’s just depressed. Worried, his uncle Raoul, coach to an amateur soccer team, has tried everything to cheer him up, to no avail. But Raoul just had a bright idea. Faking a heart attack, he talks his nephew into coaching his players, who've just miraculously qualified for the national cup. Bruno starts to enjoy his new responsibilities and form bonds with the players. It helps his pitch that the team's physical therapist is the very attractive Erika! But when his ex-wife and a tempting job proposition turn up, Bruno suddenly faces more choices than he can handle!
